DC Battery Technologies launches new 4,000 Series Lithium Iron batteries for additional safety, enhanced performance and longer life
DC Battery Technologies Ltd, the UK’s fastest-growing battery distributor, has announced the launch of the new 4,000 Series of Lithium Iron Phosphate LiFePO4 batteries. The new 4,000 Series offers a range of benefits such as unique triple-safety protection, fast charge performance and prominent long life for applications including marine, leisure, electric vehicles, energy storage systems, mobile CCTV and lighting, and vehicle conversions.
The new 4,000 Series comes equipped with Bluetooth technology and is 50 per cent lighter than the Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) equivalent to save on logistics costs. It has an exceptional cycle life (over 3,500 times @100% Depth Of Discharge) that is 20 times longer than conventional SLA batteries to deliver cost and energy savings. Other features include CAN bus communication, a patented inbuilt heating element in the low temperature version and automatic cell balancing for both Series and Parallel connections. Prismatic cells help to achieve a high level of consistency, especially for deep cycle applications.
The range is available in 12v, 24v and 48v, with capacities varying from 6ah to 300ah. It is also available in a low temperature option which is specifically designed to operate in sub-zero weather conditions, making the batteries ideal for leisure, marine and off grid applications.
Every cell within the 4,000 Series is certified according to IEC62133, UL, UN38.3 standards, while the entire system is UN38.3 CE certified.
DC Battery Technologies’ new 4,000 Series comes with an optional anti-thief system and GPS. For more information on the range, visit www.dcbattery.tech, call 01536 464890 or email email@example.com
