DC Battery Technologies To Make First Appearance At Crick Boat Show
DC Battery Technologies Ltd, the UK’s fastest-growing battery distributor, is making its debut appearance at this year’s Crick Boat Show, Britain’s biggest inland waterways festival.
Crick Boat Show will be held from 20-22 August 2021 at Crick Marina in Northamptonshire. DC Battery Technologies will share a stand with the Electric Boat Association for the first time, and will showcase the leading Carbon Gel and Poweroad Infinity lithium-ion leisure batteries.
On the stand, DC Battery Technologies will show the Poweroad LINC INFI, a unique 12v 100Ah LifePO4 battery that has very high continuous output current (1875W). This makes it ideal for marine and propulsion applications. The battery is also fitted with Temperature Heating Elements, vital in sub zero conditions to allow normal charging at even up to -20C.
Visitors to the stand will also be able to see the CDC Series 2000 Lead Carbon Gel Batteries that use activated carbon and graphene materials. These are added to the negative plate of the battery to offer the advantages of both lead acid batteries and super capacitors. This not only improves the ability of rapid charge and discharge, but also greatly prolongs the battery life by up to 15 years.
The CDC batteries are specially designed for daily heavy cyclic discharge use which can recharge with a low boost charge voltage. This is ideal for applications with Partial State of Charge (PSOC) conditions and rigorous daily demands such as marine.
The Electric Boat Association champions the interests of electric boat owners across the UK. It helps with issues such as waterway access, charging points, slipway facilities, reduced licence fees and the Boat Safety Scheme.
